Systems change is about changing social problems by addressing their root cause. By getting to the heart of the matter and looking at exactly what is upside down, what is fundamentally not working.

The following article explores the basic fundamentals of systems change. It's a great starting point for you to understand systems change if you're new to it and why it is important to learn about it if you are committed to conscious enterprise.

I first came across the notion of systems change when I started working at an organisation called Desert Knowledge Australia, based in Alice Springs in the outback of Australia. The organisation was established to tackle challenges Australians face living in the desert. Challenges like remoteness, the tyranny from distance from power centres, Aboriginal disadvantage.

To manage a system effectively, you might focus on the interactions of the parts rather than their behavior taken separately.
